the final removal of the protective coverings and professional cleaning of the Mykola Lysenko monument took place near the National Opera of Ukraine in Kyiv. The event continues the “Weeks of Improvement for Kyiv’s Historic Monuments” initiative, under which the capital’s landmark monuments are being uncovered after protective conservation and restored to a well-maintained condition.
